The Bilge Pumps - Past Landings: Scarlet's Mid-Winter Renaissance Festival 2006

Oklahoma City, OK January 28 - 29, 2006

The best of the indoor renaissance festivals we perform at was resurrected in '06 on.. a perfectly sunny and warm winter day. Who woulda thunk it? We got a chance to return to Scarlet's warm, nestled den and see if his mermaids were to scale. We were happy to see some familiar faces among the performers and fans and got a chance to debut some new songs to the unsuspecting victims. Also, our new guitar player, Sharkbait Simon, came in plain clothes to watch his future band for the first time. Sometime around the end of the day on Sunday, everyone must have gotten a dose of happy water, because some of the Bilge Pumps got turned into mermen!

The Bilge Pumps return to the house that Scarlet built.	Either John is about to fly off the stage or he's getting buggered by Galleon... or both.	It's looking like Harvey has been paracticing the Rasta religion a bit too much.
Some of the people in the audience are just made to do the limbo.	This is the look you get from Maroon onstage when you totally lose rhythm during a song.	For a change of scenery, the Bilge Pumps roll over to the Hearth Stage...
... and proceed to expose the ren faire world to "Linstead Market" for the first time, causing jaws to drop all around.	Sharkbait Simon shows up in plain clothes and deliberates whether or not it was such a good idea to join this band.	Now Harvey knows how to wear a classy eye patch.
Yes, the rumors are true... Blue decided to go to the dark side and become a mer-man.	With a look like that, Galleon's either disgusted or he's thinking about...	... becoming a mer-man himself!
Phil refused to be one-upped by the young-uns though...	... and then there were 4. George Clooney would be happy to hook a heavy catch like this!	Scarlet the Fox falls prey to Harvey's charms. Hey, it's not beastiality if you're half-fish, right?
