The Bilge Pumps made their 24th appearance at the Medieval Fair memorable by returning to perform at the Unicorn stage for the first time since 2003. We had a new album in hand and the full compliment of hands to distribute it. The weather gave us the patented Oklahoma twist by threatening everyone with certain deluge and storms, only to give a single overnight rain. Good times were had, except by our new stagemates Bob the Incredible Juggler and Bardmageddon, who had to listen to our shows all day.

The Bilge Pumps return to the Unicorn Stage at the Medieval Fair for the first time since 2003, the first year the festival was at Reaves Park.

John Crow the Cook, Fanny the Flagmaker, and Splice the Rigger get their dance on during "Pirating the Seas"

"I cast Fireball!"

Maroon the Shantyman, Ruby Pearl the Quartermaster, and Sharkbait Simon the Scapegoat carry on the show with "The Old Black Rum"

The band and the audience yell "salud" during "Isn't it Grand"

Black Pearl the Cannoneer and Maroon get all serious performing "Old Salt"

When John Crow gives you a full body hug, it's like the icy fingers of death surround you.

John Crow, Fanny, and Splice are looking pretty groovy. Put some ice skates on them and we can really sell some tickets!

John Crow gets properly pampered during "Jolly Roving Tar"

You would never see this many strings on stage when the Bilge Pumps first performed on this stage.

Fanny doesn't seem to appreciate Splice's new... uh... we want to say magic trick?!?

Splice and Black Pearl react exactly how anyone would react when Maroon makes that face.

Never trust the guitar players when they have that pleased look on their faces.

Can Splice keep a secret? Sure. Much like roosters keep their secrets in the mornings.

The rhythm section of the band has the tempo tight and the end in sight.

Splice has the solutions to your problems... along with 99% of your problems...

The evening shows allow the crowd to sit in all the chairs again as the shade covers the seating area.

What better way to wrap up the weekend than to listen to Sharkbait's rhyme on "Donkey Riding"

Our thanks go to Alyssa Shade and Jay Wilson for the pictures and video.
