2023 was the year of change.

The Bilge Pumps said farewell to our friends Harvey the Corpsman, Jack the Rum Runner, and Elizabeth the Stowaway as they headed off to cleaner waters to form their own pirate band.

However, we doubled down on grumpiness and nostalgia as we welcomed back Sharkbait Simon the Scapegoat into the fold.

Then we added our newest members, Black Pearl the Cannoneer and Ruby Pearl the Quartermaster to the group, bringing us back up to 7 members.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

2023 was the year of staying the same.
