It may have only been the three-day Thanksgiving weekend we rolled back into cajun country, but we had enough fun for a whole run of a festival! We had a blast reuniting with our fans from LA and meeting some fun new folks in the process. The renovated festival site likely got quite a shock as I'm sure we stirred up some kind of monster from the lake with our relentless caterwauling across its waters. Sorry 'bout that.
A large crowd showed up on the far-reaches of the festival to see the Bilge Pumps 1st show of the festival. Everyone had been needing a pirate fix for 5 weekends.

The Bilge Pumps welcomed back Galleon O'Galleon to their ranks and then had to suffer through his rhymes on "Donkey Riding".
Speaking of returning Bilge Pumps, Aloysius came back to sing with us for our shows at the Dripping Dog, even when it was so cold, his nipples were wearing turtlenecks.
The nice lady in the crystal booth across from us knew the words to "Johnny Jump Up" better than we did.
Nice view, huh? I meant of the lake, ya dirty-minded barnacles. The Bilge Pumps had the honor of being the only act to perform on the Peninsula Stage.
It wasn't long befor we broke it, though and Natty the Navigator has some fun bouncing on the springy remains of what was once a proud stage.
Gil Sullivan the Cooper had his dignity and clothes auctioned off and ended up having to walk the plank at the behest of the audience.
After dropping a few feet and a about 40 degrees, Gil manages to get out of the water with his manly pride only slightly diminished.
Professional performer that his is, though, he manages to finish out the show before running to find a roaring fire and jumping into it.
Galleon proves he the audience actually likes him by shading their eyes from the evening sun.
Is it just me, or does Gil's hair look a bit different after the lake's mud treatment?
The pirates couldn't leave without taking a voyages on the new lake ferry and bellowing out a few shanties along the way.
