The Bilge Pumps make the Celtic Quill a repeated piratical hangout throughout the year with landings there at least once per month. We had our CD release party at the Quill on St. Patrick's Day for the release of our first CD, "We Don't Know". The CD's had green on them, so you couldn't go around pinching them. Of course, that would just be strange anyway.
St. Patrick's Day/CD Release Party
The Bilge Pumps (minus the eternally lost Squint the Lookout) fire off a rousing rendition of "Itches in Me Britches"!
You can tell it's St. Patrick's Day because Phil is wearing his all green outfit. Well, almost. His combat boots are still black. Squeegy is just trying to remember the words, while Crack wears women's coats.
Looks like Maroon and Phil are eyeballing the same good looking gal in the corner. Kailyn closed his one good eye, though, so he missed her.
Hmmm.... interesting. Does it look like Maroon's the only one singing here? At least he's not knocking over the microphone. And where's Squint? He must still be lost, trying to find the pub.

April Hailstorms... er... Showers Show
Squint does his best Elvis impersonation during our screwed up version of "Barrett's Privateers".
It's pirate rap at its finest as The Bilge Pumps bust a move during "Shiver My Timbers".
In the center of the stage is where all the tall pirates go.
Maroon points out exactly who keeps screwing up the rhythm to our songs.... Squint!
Now we must show the rhythm section of The Bilge Pumps, starting with Kailyn Dammit on the bodhran....
Then on to Phil McGroin with his pirate skulls, shakey-thingies, and maracas...
And finally with our rhythm king, Squint, on the doumbek.
The Maroon, Kailyn, and E see no evil, hear no evil, and speak no evil during "Isn't it Grand".
It's 2:30 in the morning and all the songs have been sung. Here are the faces that the tired little pirates make.
A shot of the hail that came pelting down during the show. A sign from the gods? Sure, but who are we to listen to critics?
We're definitely rolling the old chariot along as Phil concentrates on not messing up the beat, and Crack and Squeegy grind an axe.
