The Bilge Pumps - Past Landings: Pirate Night at QuikTrip Park 2012

In a promotional appearance for the following night's Pirates on the Prairie Concert, the Bilge Pumps help organize a Pirate Night at the Grand Prairie Airhogs professional baseball game at QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie. Though there were supposed to be all sorts of sideline shenanigans involving us pirates and their mascots, the imminent threat of airborne mosquito spraying forced the game to speed up and all we got to do was sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" and hand out fliers to everyone. We did finish the night with a quick preview concert in the bar in left field to wrap up the night, although our sound system went on the fritz, so we were forced to yell over the crowd noise. Ah well, at least the home team won... oh wait, the night ended up in a tie.

Harvey the Corpsman and Maroon the Shantyman greet everyone coming to the ballgame with a dose of pirate paraphernalia.	Meanwhile, Splice the Rigger and Natty Nell the Navigator man our tent, donated by the City of GP Parks Dept.	The sign pretty much reads it all
Wait, who?!?! I thought the Bilge Pumps were peforming tonight!	That's three levels of piratey women at the game tonight.	The gang takes a food break before heading over to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame".
The band tries to get the sound system working for the post-game show, but it keeps fritzing out due to the high RF levels in the bar.	Lack of amps never stopped the Bilge Pumps' show before, and it won't stop it now.	In fact, they gonna rub some funk on it!
