The Bilge Pumps returned to the Medieval Fair for their 14th appearance at the festival and we came armed with some new stuff. We fired off some new songs that we'd never performed before, some new merchandise we'd never sold before, and even our latest album, "Bail Money" that was recorded the year before. We even brought a new guitar player, Jack the Rum Runner! 'Course, we lost him on Saturday, but that's the risks you take hiring a booze hound. They get lost sometimes. We dragged the members of Tullamore up on stage for a brief appearance doing a couple of cover songs, and we got the return of our lost Aloysius the Ship's Carpenter, who joined us for the final show each day. In fact, the final set of the festival had 7 Bilge Pumps on stage for the first time in many years. We barely had enough mics for everyone.

It's Friday at the Medieval Fair and Sharkbait's nowhere to be seen. Luckily, Jack the Rum Runner's all settled in on guitar.

Maroon the Shantyman tells the band they actually have to get better due to the quality control officer coming their way.

John Crow the Cook whips out his ding dong to the delight of the front row.

Not ones to have a pleased audience, Harvey the Corpsman and Splice the Rigger dig through Crow's pockets for any more bells.

You'll have to forgive Maroon, he tends to daydream in the middle of songs sometimes.

Harvey gathers up the dancers at the end of a long kid's day to take on "Johnny Jump Up".

The Bilge Pumps want you... to donate heavily to the cause of piracy.

The Bilge Pumps invoke a higher power at the end of thier show... the power of Capitalism.

Aloysius the Ships Carpenter joins us on stage for his one show after making heads roll all day.

Yes, that's the face one makes when one does not know how to play a didgeridu

Aloysius decides he needs his share of the booty.

Jack gets down and boogies when there is rum on the line

It's Saturday now, and Jack's disappeared to be magically replaced by Sharkbait Simon the Scapegoat.

Tempest the Stormwatcher is loaded up and ready to take on all purchasers.

Musicals was chosen yet again for "Old Dun Cow" and everyone's getting in touch with their inner show tune.

When "The Gun Shanty" starts, it's time for Sharkbait Simon to get his dancing boots pulled on... the ones with the high heels

OK, so the squid-faced monster isn't 7 feet tall, but he's ugly enough.

You've never seen a band so well hung before, have you?

Maroon tries to warm up his allergy-wracked voice on Sunday morning.

Sunday is here and we have our full complement of Bilge Pumps on board

One guitar player splits into two via some wierd pirate mitosis.

Splice the Rigger goes out and collects the tips during "Pay Me".

Maroon and Mary from Tullamore play some stretch in the afternoon between sets. We would tell you who won, but it's embarassing for one of the party.

It's "Shiver My Timbers" time, that means it's dance time!

Sharkbait heads out the audience to catch the flying mallets Maroon can't seem to keep in his hands.

Jack delivers a wayward mallet back to the barehanding Maroon.

It appears that these two have the wrong poses.

The nice weather means the audience came out in force during the afternoon shows.

It's like synchronized swimming, but with more urge to vomit

Harvey and Sharkbait find a cellphone and a one-way ticket to comedy.

For the first time in many, many years, the number of Bilge Pumps on stage reaches seven!

Our thanks go to Dana Smith for the picture donations
