The Bilge Pumps - Past Landings: Earth Day Dallas 2012

Dallas, TX April 21, 2012

The weather was perfect for a trip out to Fair Park to perform at Earth Day Dallas this year. The new location of the event helped add some flow to the crowd and we almost started a black hole by the Bilge Pumps performing at the Radio Disney Family Fun Zone. Luckily, only handfuls of brain cells were fried keeping it clean and we escaped unscathed. Our second show took place at the Amphitheather next to the Museum of Natural History and we drew a nice, large crowd to witness some of our goofiness and leave with a pirate-sized smile on their faces. Save the planet, indeed.

The Bilge Pumps arrive at Earth Day Dallas to take on the task of humoring the local children.	That's because the event had the band performing at the Radio Disney Family Zone with a busload of kids in attendance!	And the resulting black hole swallowed up all the children... or it could have been the music... or it could have been the bus had to leave.
The second show of the day had the Bilge Pumps performing in the Amphitheater Stage... or now known as the Pirate Pit.	John Crow the Cook does some interpretive dancing as Harvey the Corpsman sings "Black and Tans".	Harvey then proceeds to gather up four volunteers to dance with him during "Cape Cod Girls".
