The Bilge Pumps' 21st appearance at Dickens on the Strand had a little magic in it as the weather was nice for the first time in a few years and we got to see actual happy audiences at the shows. Our traditional appearance at Fezziwig's Friday night has a change as we were the first act on, so that meant more time for festivities later. We made sure to get well over our 10,000 steps in. Especially since Sharkbait Simon returned to the band for the first time in months after his surgery. That meant Splice had to carry his stuff around.

It wouldn't be Fezziwig's Friday Night without the Bilge Pumps. This time on an earlier slot to appeal to the early-to-bed types.

As part of our yearly initiative to get our steps in, we roll outside the festival grounds to put on a show at the Texas Seaport Museum.

Home of the tall ship Elissa, the grand lady of Texas.

You can't see it, but the Elissa is smiling down on the band at the show. Unless this photo is flipped.

Here we find Splice the Rigger in his natural environment. Shhh... don't disturb him or he gets cranky.

It's that time of year where half the set list is Christmas music in the only festival that lets us perform it.

The night shows at the festival are always fun because the drunker people are, the better our show is.

At the end of a festival day, it's time to pull the tons of stuff that keep the band functioning down the street.
